Fantastic Wiring A 2 Gang Outlet Box
The box is for 2 switches one dimmer switch that controls a porch light the left switch and one dumb switch that is apart of a 3 way that controls the stairwell light the right switch.

The left 2 have b w g wires and the right 2 have b w r g wires. If the circuit is 20 amp which means thicker 12 gauge wire or if the existing box is smaller than 18 cu. With each outlet connected by its own pigtail wire if one fails because of physical damage the other won t be affected and should still work.
The load terminals on the gfci are not used and it does not protect the other receptacles in the circuit. The first outlet is connected to the source and 2 wire cable runs from box to box. The steel boxes have the advantage of being self grounding and do not require a grounding wire.

In you can t wire a new wall outlet as we show here unless you replace. All wires are spliced with a pigtail at the devices to pass current to the next. It includes pig tailing as well.
